Eliot- Waynette Marion Eaton , 65 of Hanscom Road in Eliot died on August 21, 2020 at her home surrounded by the love of family.

Born in York Maine, on October 4, 1954, she was a daughter to the late Martha J. (Bate) and Walter F. Eaton.

Waynette was raised in the City of Portsmouth and attended local schools including Portsmouth High School with the Class of 1973.

She is a loving mother to Amy J. Davidson- Goodwin and her husband Shawn E. Goodwin of Sanford and Karrianne Wyman and her husband Shaun M. Wyman of Sanford and the adored grandmother of Owen Lucas. And Madilyn Grace. Wyman. She was predeceased by her parents and brother Wayne Eaton.

She devoted her life to the care of gods creatures, there wasn't an animal she didn't care for, love or nurture, especially her beloved birds. She worked as a vet tech for several veterinarians and for the last twenty two at Piscataqua Animal Hospital in Kittery, where she was beloved by the staff, clients and mostly the animals she cared for. Her home was a castle for her pets and a safe haven for many well care for in transition to other loving homes.

She cherished time spent with her grandchildren and delighted in seeing them happy. Waynette was an avid gardener enjoying time with her flower and vegetable gardens and sharing the fruit of her labor with family and friends. She also was a seamstress at times that enjoyed sewing her many Halloween costumes to wear dancing. She gave the gift of gardening to Amy & love of Sewing to Karrianne.

Friends are invited to visit with Waynette's family on Monday August 31, 2020 from 4-6pm in the JS Pelkey and Son Funeral Home 125 Old Post Road Kittery Maine 03904. A time of prayer followed by remembrances will begin at 5:30 for those who wish to share a story.
