William (Bill) Alexis Pomerleau III, 68, of South Berwick passed away on March 18, 2026.

Bill is survived by daughters, Crystal and Molly; grandchildren, Jack and Lily; brothers, Robert and Brian; and partner, Jamie.

Bill dedicated 30+ years as a civil servant at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, starting as a marine mechanic and retiring as Nuclear Submarine Instructor. A born engineer, he was always tinkering, whether it was building a computer (for fun) or making toys for his grandkids with his 3D printer. He loved Marvel movies, dogs, and baseball.

Those who knew him best will remember him for his kind heart and sense of humor.

Bill will be missed by many.

A funeral service will take place at 3pm on Monday, May 4th at the First Congregational Church of North Berwick, 15 High Street, North Berwick, Maine 03906. In lieu of flowers, the family will be collecting donations for the Yorkshire Masonic Lodge, of which Billy was a member. Care for the Pomerleau family has been entrusted to the JS Pelkey & Son Funeral Home.
