Kittery – William L. Watson, SMSgt, USAF Ret., 79, of Kittery, Maine, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on March 29, 1937 in Oella, Maryland, son of Ernest and Irma E. (Gamber) Delawder.

William served his country in the United States Air Force, including the Vietnam War and retiring after 20 years as a Senior Master Sergeant.

William loved watching golf, westerns, football and playing cards at the Poker Room. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Helen A. (Clauson) Watson; son, William and his wife Melissa DeBonis, and son Tracy Watson; grandchildren, Brennin, Dean and LilyAnna Watson; sister-in-law, Shirley Grant; brother-in-law, Paul Clauson and his wife Sue; and brother, Eddie Watson and his family; as well as many loving and caring nieces, nephews and friends.

Services: A time of visitation will be held from 5-7PM on Monday, November 7, 2016 at J.S. Pelkey Funeral Home, 125 Old Post Road, Kittery, ME. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be may to a charity of one's choice.
