Kittery - Winona Culbert Windus, 90 of Kittery, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 28, 2018, at York Hospital after experiencing a heart attack.

"Winnie" was born in Springfield, ME on September 5, 1927. She was the daughter of Reynold and Helen Quinn.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Richard Culbert; husband, Robert Windus; sister, Barbara Johnson and brother, Wilfred Quinn and step-son, Daniel Windus.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Suermann of Pensacola, FL and Leslie Culbert and life partner, Deborah Johnson of Kittery, ME; granddaughter, Wendy Suermann of Pensacola, FL; step-daughters, Karen Castleberry and husband Ronald of Forest, VA, Barbara Henderson and husband Alan of Griffin, GA and Nancy Windus of Temecula, CA.; and five nieces and nephews and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Winnie was a beautician and a lover of style and everything pink. Keep on being fabulous, Winnie!

There will not be a formal service, however a celebration of her life will be held with the family this summer. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
