DOVER - Yvette J. (Boucher) Michaud of Langdon Place of Dover, formerly of Somersworth died after a brief illness on April 28th, 2013 at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover. She was the widow of Oscar S. Michaud who died September 12, 1980. Born in Somersworth January 8, 1918 she was the youngest daughter of Auguste and Amanda (Drolet) Boucher. She owned and operated Yvette's Beauty Salon for 47 years. She traveled extensively throughout the United States and abroad and spent her summers at Wells Beach, Maine. She was a graduate of Saint Martin's Academy and a lifelong communicant of St. Martin's Church. Members of her family include her son Normand Michaud of Idaho and Raymond Michaud of Somersworth and daughter-in-law Denise Michaud of Dover. Daughter Monique Michaud of Somersworth, Susan Barry (Kevin) of Somersworth and Murielle Berke (Arthur) of West Newton, Mass. She leaves several grandchildren; Melissa Barisic and husband, Robert, Donelle Corona, Kristen Barry, Jason Barry and wife, Laura, Sarah Michaud and Nathan Michaud and wife, Laura. Great grandchildren Sarah Barisic and Kyle Barisic, Mackenzie Corona and Angelique Corona. Additionally she leaves several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Alice Auclair and Marguerite Poire and daughter-in-law Joann Michaud and step granddaughter Suzanne Settlemire. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Bernier Funeral Home, 49 South Street, Somersworth, N.H. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish, St. Martin's Church.
