Nathan Fetterhoff
Funeral Director/Manager
Nathan was born in Farmington, Maine. He was raised in East Jay and was a graduate of Jay High School, Class of 2000.
In 2012, he started his career in funeral service as an apprentice funeral director and embalmer in Dracut, Mass. Then in 2014 he began work at Bernier Funeral Home in Somersworth, NH. He began his college education at FINE Mortuary College, graduating in 2014.
Nathan is a licensed Funeral Director in Maine and New Hampshire and serves families in both the Kittery and Somersworth locations.
Over the years, Nathan has picked up hobbies such as gardening and repairing and restoring vintage radios and turntables. He is also an avid collector of vinyl records, and enjoys attending live music events in the Seacoast area.
He and his wife Cara make their home in South Berwick.
Nathan’s focus will be to maintain the goal of the Pelkey family in providing the best care for families, giving the families we serve the options to personalize services to reflect their loved ones life.

Christopher Cowen
Funeral Director
Christopher J. Cowen was born and raised in Houston, Texas where he graduated from Commonwealth Funeral Service Institute In 2019. He moved to Biddeford with his partner and two dogs in 2022 and has not looked back. He believes himself very fortunate to be able to serve his community as a funeral director and help those in need.

William “Bill” Paisley
Funeral Attendant
Bill has served families at the JS Pelkey and Son and the Bernier Funeral Homes for almost two decades. A well known local fixture Bill is a graduate of R.W Traip Academy and retired from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard .
He and his wife Marie raised their two daughters here in Kittery and is a long time member of St. Marks United Methodist Church.
Bill has served of fifty years of service to the citizens of Kittery as a member of the Kittery Fire Department. He has served faithfully in nearly every capacity.

William “Bill” Paisley
Funeral Attendant
Bill has served families at the JS Pelkey and Son and the Bernier Funeral Homes for almost two decades. A well known local fixture Bill is a graduate of R.W Traip Academy and retired from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard .
He and his wife Marie raised their two daughters here in Kittery and is a long time member of St. Marks United Methodist Church.
Bill has served of fifty years of service to the citizens of Kittery as a member of the Kittery Fire Department. He has served faithfully in nearly every capacity.

Justin Pelkey
Funeral Attendant
Justin has been a part of the JS Pelkey and Son Funeral Home his entire life, growing up in the business and helping at the funeral home as a young boy cleaning and helping his family.
Justin graduated from Marshwood High School where he was active in the music program, and served as the Hawks Football Team manager for several years.
He is a talented cook and is currently writing a collection of recipes. He enjoys traveling, movies, and gaming.

Prior to the funeral industry he began and currently continues to serve as a law enforcement officer, celebrating nearly forty years of service to the region.
Mr. Pelkey serves in many capacities throughout the community. He serves as Pastor of the First Congregational Church in North Berwick, Police Officer in South Berwick, Kittery Firefighter and Chaplain to the Cities of Portsmouth, Newington and South Berwick.
He is an avid outdoorsman spending time motorcycling, fishing, hunting and running.
Mr. Pelkey shares his home in Eliot with his wife Julie (Reed) Pelkey and their son Justin .
